Mission

Primary objectives are to:

  • Increase student access to effective treatments by adapting the Collaborative Model for clinical depression, with particular attention to students who traditionally underutilize mental health services.
  • Improve identification & treatment of depression using the collaborative care model to systematically track patient outcomes across the broader health service.
  • Implement coordinated care clinical registries, healthcare integration, and care management to facilitates better coordinated care.
  • Apply implementation methods that optimize existing resources via dissemination of real-world strategies for systematic depression care in college health centers.
  • Institutional commitment to change through increased awareness of mental health concerns in higher education and institutional commitments to effective depression care and student success.
